This triumphant work explores the mystic poetry and personal meditations of Anglican priest George Herbert while ending with a triumphant hymn of praise.\n\n\n\nThe work will be performed by the Harmonia Sacra string orchestra\, a Steinway grand piano featuring pianist Heather Cooper\, the fifty member Chancel Cantata Chorus\, and baritone soloists.\n\n\n\nAdditional presentations include Gabriel Faure's Cantique de Jean Racine and instrumental offerings including piano solo works and selections from Edward Grieg's Holberg Suite for strings.
