DESCRIPTION:North Canton Fire Dept/Emergency Medical Services will host an Open House from 6-9p at the EMS Station on 7th St NE. Light refreshments will be served. LifeShare Blood Drive from 4-8pm. PHOTO ID REQUIRED. LifeShare t-shirts and refreshments to all who donate. The Akron Children's Hospital helicopter\, known as Air Bear\, is scheduled to land on the Dogwood Pool parking lot at about 7pm\, pending no emergencies. The NCFD will demonstrate an auto extrication device. North Canton's "File of Life" and free blood pressure checks will be available. Glucose and cholesterol screenings will be offered for a nominal fee (fasting is required prior to testing).
