DESCRIPTION:The Arc of Ohio-Stark County's annual Premier Event is an evening that showcases the talents of individuals with developmental disabilities. This family-friendly variety show features performances by groups such as the American Idols Special Needs Cheerleaders\, Angel Project dance company\, Handprints Sign Choir and Danceability Wheelchair Dancers.\n\n\n\nIn addition to these wonderful acts\, Willie Nash of the 1950's pop & soul vocal group The Platters will be headlining the show. Nash\, who is visually impaired\, will play many of The Platter's number one hits including "Only You\," "The Great Pretender\," and "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" alongside many of the Premier Event acts.\n\n\n\nA catered Reception will start the event at 6:00 pm with the Show following at 7:15.\n\n\n\nTickets are $30 for the Reception & Show or $10 for the Show only and can be purchased by calling The Arc at (330) 492-5225.
