This is an indoor stationary cycling event named after Vaughn Prude, a YMCA Cycling Instructor who lost his battle with cancer in 2005. This event raises money for the NC YMCA'S Living Strong Living Well Program, which provides those affected by cancer a group exercise experience designed to build stamina and strength as it increases emotional support. Money is also given to the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which promotes cancer research and advocacy.
Cyclists and non-cyclists, YMCA members and non-members, students who are at least 60" tall (to fit on the bikes), people of ANY fitness level, are welcome to participate!
The $25 fee includes a 30-minute ride, a t-shirt, a chance to win door prizes, and the most rewarding afternoon you've ever had!
