Orientation II: Making Small Business Decisions Easier

The Ohio Small Business Development Center at Kent State Stark has developed this orientation session for owners of businesses that have been operating for a year or more. The session addresses business metrics which are necessary to grow your business, including marketing mix, pricing, working capital, break-even point and cash flow. It emphasizes the need for long-term business and succession plans, while instructing participants on how to create a supporting short-term plan. The supporting plan contains measurable standards which force discipline into the decision-making process. This seminar is presented in a form which can be adapted to every business.
