Even before the snow has gone away, odd migratory birds called Timberdoodles, or the American Woodcocks, are beginning their courtship. Male Timberdoodles perform a courtship sound and flight ritual known as "roding." Meet a Stark Parks Naturalist at the Hoover Park Connector Trail entrance near the ballfields on East Maple St. in North Canton to look for these odd flying creatures. Bring your own binoculars.
