“Baby Boomers, Active Seniors, Golden Agers, Older Adults, Perrenials… What in the world are we supposed to call folks over 60, 65 or 70 these days? Who are they, how do we find them and most importantly, how do we sell to them- it seems like they have everything and they don’t trust anybody! In his lecture, “10 ½ Tips for Selling To Seniors,” Bob Pontius, MA, CDP discuss the most important items he has identified in his long and successful career of bonding with seniors. Bob has worked in marketing Long Term Care companies for 15 years and has some great stories to share about what he’s learned that we must do if we want a “senior” to buy from us! Bob is the Director of External Relations for Danbury Senior Living and is a former professor of Communication at University of Akron and Mount Union University. His Master Degree in Interpersonal Communication means he has great insight as to why and how seniors have certain needs along the buying process. His certificate as a Certified Dementia Practitioner means he has advanced training in how to work with patients and families struggling with this terrible diagnosis.”
