HELD ON MONDAY, JULY 5TH THIS YEAR

 

This annual family and community event is the largest race in Stark County, with 2,275 participants in 2009. All are welcome, from elite runners to families and walkers. There is a 2-mile and a 5-mile course that moves through the streets of North Canton. The 5-mile course also goes through the Stark Parks trail on E Maple and is part of the Subway Challenge Series. New this year: start mats and a 40 and over Masters Category.

The 2-mile race starts at 8:10a and the 5-mile at 8:30a. The Jaycees July 4th Parade follows the presentation of awards. Seventeen sponsors help make this race a wonderful tradition.
