EVENT CALENDAR
Alternative Gift Market at Malone U
Malone University students host Alternative Gift Market
The Market seeks to provide creative solutions to problems in both the US and around the world by inviting people to participate in creative gift giving. Gifts such as goats, leg braces, and clean drinking water can be purchased in honor of a loved one, while the item itself is then given to someone in need. The person in whose honor the gift was purchased receives a card describing the item and community that will benefit. The market will also feature items from a fair trade store for those who prefer to purchase tangible gifts for the holidays.
For more information, contact Stacy Utecht at 330-588-7119 or sutecht@malone.edu.
