Annual Malone Davenport Derby
Decorated couches will arrive at 4:30 PM
Judging begins at 5:00 PM
Races take place at 5:30 PM
Teams are comprised of Malone students, who decorate the couches, and themselves, according to themes.
Most of the racing couches - deemed too worn for sale - are provided by Habitat for Humanity's Re-Store. The winning couch receives the coveted "Golden Couch" award and a cash prize. Placements are based upon categories such as "best costumes", "most spirited" and "fastest."
