Despite making up nearly half of the US workforce and half of the college-educated workforce, women are vastly underrepresented in technical and leadership jobs. There are many possible factors contributing to this imbalance, including a lack of female role models, gender stereotyping and less family-friendly flexibility in these fields and positions.
